Old Faithful in Yellowstone Park

Noted for its geo-thermal activity, Yellowstone National Harbors many hot spots and geysers--the most famous of which is Old Faithful. Named in 1870, Old Faithful can shoot 3,700 to 8,400 gallons of boiling water up to 180 feet. The blast can last up to five minutes.
